Very elegant and perfect English two-seater sofa from the Victorian period, made of lacquered walnut and rosewood (ebonized with period crackle) and inlaid with ivory and boxwood. The shape is one of the most beautiful of the period, with double shields as backrests. In the middle of the two backrests and in the center, you can see the three beautiful inlaid medallions crafted with meticulous detail... also the structure shows a very high level of cabinet making and unmissable carvings (ideal as a tête-à-tête). Sofas of this quality are rarely available and those that are found around have exorbitant prices! I think the sales proposal I made is very appealing!
