Enormous Dragon with sphere of wisdom, early 1900s
Period: Early 20th century
price:
€ 1.800
Enormous and spectacular winged dragon (symbol of strength and power) in carved wood, holds the sphere of wisdom in its claws... The sculpture is of the highest quality, carved from a single block of wood... I couldn't tell you what it would cost to make an identical copy today, probably few would be willing to undertake such a large commitment! Given the remarkable scenic effect, it is ideal for a living room, an entrance hall, or even for a commercial establishment.... Perfectly preserved.... we had a sliding plexiglass stand made, capable of holding over 80 kilos... The height is truly imposing at 180 centimeters, the sculpture alone is 160 cm tall... The measurements of the stand (plexiglass riser) are: 70x45 cm, height 20 cm including wheels. Period: early 1900s Origin: Asian
