Antique open etagere bookshelf entirely in flamed walnut with turned uprights, three shelves, and a carved wooden railing on the top shelf. Professional restoration including the insertion of a serrated strip (on the rear bottom shelf) made from period walnut, a detail that "no one else does anymore... except a professional cabinetmaker and inlayer..." Shellac finish with wax polishing.
