This is a truly important and stunning center diplomatic desk with three drawers and a pull-out shelf in the center, all made of solid walnut (figured) with original patina. The leg is pyramidal, typical of the late 18th century Italian period... A notable detail is the onion-shaped narrowing at the bottom of the leg, which is very elegant. The desk is a center desk, and the back is a mirror image of the front, simulating another three drawers.
The key escutcheons are inlaid with boxwood.
It is also ideal for creating a representative study.
