Stunning and rare pendulum clock in polychrome porcelain in full Old Paris style (period dating back to the end of the first half of the 19th century in Paris), with flowers and a gallant scene. What makes this clock special is the romantic part (that I must say I have never found before), that is, the removable vase (see photo), which through a brass pin, created specifically to prevent rust from forming since it is possible to fill it with water to insert real flowers, in particular rosebuds.
The mechanism has been completely cleaned, overhauled, calibrated and tuned.
The dial is made of ceramicized copper and hand-decorated.
The time winding is at 4 o'clock while the 'ding' chime winding is at 8 o'clock.
The clock will be sold with a stamped and signed certificate of authenticity, as is the case for all our items for sale. It is shipped by a specialized carrier... for small to medium-sized items a guaranteed safety packaging system will be adopted!
Condition:
Restored, in perfect condition. The porcelain is perfect without cracks or glued parts. There are small chips on some flower petals but overall they are truly imperceptible.
