Beautiful solid walnut bookcase cabinet with two elegantly arched doors. The interior has three adjustable shelves with a rack system. This cabinet is made in the Louis XV style, or inspired by it. Here are some details that suggest this: The sinuous lines and elegant curves of the glass doors and the upper part are typical of the French Rococo style, very present in the period of Louis XV (first half of the 18th century). The decorative carvings with sculpted motifs in the upper and lower parts of the cabinet recall floral and natural elements recurring in the design of the period. The cabriole and arched legs (shaped like S) are a signature of the Louis XV style. The carved floral decorations and the lower doors show finely carved floral motifs common in 18th-century French furniture. The cabinet dates back to the eclectic era of the second half of the 19th century, comparable to the Napoleon III style. The cabinet is truly in perfect condition and has been professionally restored with only natural products in our workshop.
