Charming Parisian pendulum clock in white Carrara marble with a very high-quality gilded bronze overlay with polychrome workmanship, very particular and scenic. The bronze sculpture represents Demeter, the goddess of the harvest and agriculture in Greek mythology.
The mechanism is signed Pickard and stamped Vincenti, one of the top builders of pendulum clock mechanisms who worked only for the Parisian nobility, including the Royals.
Enamelled dial with Roman numerals and the signature of the retailer of the time “Guyon a Lion”
Strikes the hour and half hour.
Chime winding at 4 o'clock, time winding at 8 o'clock.
The mechanism has been overhauled and is guaranteed.
