Museum-quality Guilloche Mirror Frame between the 16th and 17th centuries, large size
Period: 17th century
A truly museum-worthy mirror frame with high-period guilloche work "between 1500 and 1600." In ebony veneered on probed parts and applications with guilloche work. The mirror is its original one with mercury silvering (with some imperfections due to age). Double wrought iron suspension hooks. The mirror is in perfect condition (immaculate), the dimensions are remarkable... it was part of high nobility furnishings, for construction quality and dimensions.
It can be used as a frame for a table or an antique painting.
Perfectly preserved.
