Truly Intact this antique oil on canvas painting is signed and dedicated, with a contemporary and original frame to the painting. On the lower left side it is signed "I. Ronco" dated "1892" with the dedication "to my friend Igonetti", on the right side "d'après Pinel de Grandchamp". Orientalist genre painting depicting a scene of daily life near a mosque in the town of Cairo. Probably the mosque is the Madrassa Mosque of Sultan Hassan.
The painting has an orientalist subject from the second half of the 19th century. These subjects are highly sought after in the antiques market, moreover with prices that are not very accessible...
Condition: it is in excellent condition.
Period: second half of the 19th century.
