Important pendulum clock, with red levanto marble and bronze signed Saffo "the Greek poet". The mechanism is doubly stamped Pons medaille d'or 1827 (Pierre-Honorè-Cèsar Pons 1773-1851), an important watchmaker in Paris. Completely restored (revised mechanism, marble and polished bronze), restored to its original splendor. Period: 1835/45 Provenance: nobility of Paris well. Measurements: height cm. 58, LP 54 x 28.
