Beautiful and perfect original Victorian English mahogany bench with a lift-up seat upholstered in light blue, sugar-paper colored fabric with a floral, iridescent silk-like pattern. The seat is hinged and opens with brass rod supports; the interior of the box is also varnished like the exterior. The front of the bench is decorated with crests and garlands typical of England. The bench is perfectly preserved and meticulously restored in every detail, including the seat upholstery, which has been replaced anew.
