Rare Thonet coffee table in beech wood, with beautiful shaped motifs under the rectangular top; perfectly restored. Michael Thonet (Boppard, July 2, 1796 – Vienna, March 3, 1871) was an Austro-Hungarian cabinetmaker, one of the protagonists of design in the Victorian era. His sons and grandchildren followed in his footsteps until the early 20th century. The coffee table can be dated between the second half of the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s. cm. 52.5 x 38.5 x 70.5H
