The desk has been completely overhauled "therefore perfectly functional" the painting resumed with dewaxed shellac as originally, and indeed brought back to its former splendor. The key and the two inkwells are its original and perfect, as well as the internal blue velvet has been disinfected and left even though partly consumed, because it really gives a magic touch of history...
