Delightful antique Italian table, "truly unusual", in solid carved and sculpted wood with a removable jewelry holder compartment, lined in red fabric (probably silk..) and ring handles. The top is a tray, also removable, with a sublime ceramic tray-shaped insert painted and stamped Faenza, used as an empty pocket. The shape of the legs is saber-shaped and the design is typical of the Neo-Gothic period which began in the first half of the 19th century. The origin is Italian, but it is difficult to understand from which region of Italy... but having proof that the tray is Faenza ... it is confirmed that the origin is Northern Italy. Measurements cm.
