White and blue ceramic sculpture depicting a Muse with putti, signed Mario Alparone, a ceramist of Sicilian origin, born in Caltagirone of Catania in 1932 and active in San Marino between 1956 and 1959. In the following years he moved to Capodimonte where he continued his activity reaching remarkable quality levels. The sculptures with gold finish are very rare and highly valued.
