large oil painting on canvas, depicting: "Mountain landscape with shepherdesses" signed Gachet Mario (Turin 1879-1981 Castiglione torinese) A pupil of V. Cavalleri, he was mainly a landscape painter. He debuted in Turin in 1897 with Prime Leaves and in 1898 presented Under the Walnuts at the National Exposition. He also painted portraits, still lifes and genre scenes that he exhibited at the annual exhibitions of the Turin Promoter and the Circolo degli Artisti (1902, Diavoletti and Malizio-sect; 1908, Mucca al Pascolo). He was present at the exhibitions in Milan (1906, Verso sera), Intra, Genoa, and London. His works are kept at the Civic Gallery of Modern Art in Turin. cm.
